Media diversification is about context.

An August 2026 industry report republished by Sina describes an OEM media mix spanning distribution, system, content and network environments. That is a useful lens for evaluating a campaign beyond a list of platform names.

For an advertiser, the next question is practical: which of those environments is appropriate for the product, and how will its contribution be evaluated?

Acquisition and monetization belong in one conversation.

AppsFlyer’s 2026 monetization research examines revenue timing and differences across advertising, purchases and subscriptions. It reinforces why an acquisition plan needs a view of the product’s revenue model.

For an IAA-led game, agree how advertising revenue, retention and acquisition cost will be reviewed together. Keep cohort age and revenue definitions consistent before comparing returns.

Creative volume needs a learning system.

AppsFlyer’s 2026 gaming marketing report describes rising creative volume and intensifying competition for attention. Producing more variants does not, on its own, explain what the team should learn.

Our planning recommendation: give each concept a hypothesis, preserve the link between the ad promise and the app experience, and record why the next creative iteration is being made.

An engaged audience is worth understanding.

Adjust’s August 2026 update reports higher casual-game session activity in its first-half dataset. This is an industry observation from Adjust’s sample, rather than a forecast for an individual app or channel.

For campaign planning, look beyond category momentum. Compare your own countries, user cohorts and engagement patterns, then decide which opportunity deserves a controlled test.

Turn the perspective into a brief.

  • Define the role of the next channel in the wider media mix.
  • Connect the campaign goal to the product’s monetization model.
  • Specify a creative hypothesis, not only a list of assets.
  • Agree reporting definitions and a cohort review window.
  • Choose the next action from the evidence the test can provide.

Trendmax brings this operating perspective to OEM-led campaign planning and execution for Chinese apps going global.
